World's fastest esports pilots, brutal GT3 cars, intense pressure at the temple of speed await the opening round of the SRO E-Sport GT Series today - racing for a once in a lifetime Lamborghini Squadra Corse racing experience.

All the racing at Monza, discussions and insight will be live-streamed on https://www.twitch.tv/racedepartment from 13:00 UTC (14:00 BST / 15:00 CEST). Here's your chance to see the best of esports racing, and the first opportunity to catch the brand new content coming to Asetto Corsa Competizione.

With a grand prize of a money can’t buy opportunity to kick-start a real racing career with such an iconic brand as the raging bull of Lamborghini, the pressure is on for the competitors during the very first SRO E-Sport GT Series.

12 PRO, 12 Silver and 12 AM drivers will be taking to the circuit at Monza this weekend, for a no holds barred battle of speed, determination, bravery and racecraft at one of the most iconic racing circuits in the world - the Monza Eni Circuit in Italy.

With big name drivers and some exceptionally talented sim racers going at it for a chance to realise the ultimate racing goal, you won’t want to miss a second of the racing action.

So, when will all the action take place? Check out the weekend timetable below. Times are in CEST local time (For UTC -2)

Saturday:
10:00 – 14:00: AM Class selections
14:00 – 14:30: VIP Slots – Simulators are reserved for special guests
15:00 – 16:30: PRO Semi-Final live stream
16:30 – 18:00: SILVER Semi-Final live stream
18:00 – 19:30: AM Semi-Final live stream

Sunday:
10:00 – 12:00: AM/SILVER/PRO Finalists Warm-up
13:00 – 14:00: SRO E-Sport Series Round 1 Final – AM/SILVER/PRO live stream
15:00 – 18:00 Blancpain GT Series Main Race – Endurance / Simulators are set free ride
18:00 - 19:00 SRO E-Sport Series Podium Celebration / Main podium

Stupid question perhaps but in the header image what are those on either side of the white stand? Are they sim rigs with stickers representing screen graphics or something? Just not clear from the image and they look a bit too close together to be live :)

Sim gigs with big ass curved screens lined up in a row like a starting grid. looks like a large screen at the end with timing info on it

Do we really need to see them two all the time.. plus covering up the map :O_o:..we can hear them dont need both.
Bottom left would be a better position as there is empty space there. Just a suggestion for next race(s) if it's possible, as it would have been good to see the track map. Good commentary though - well done lads - can't be easy
