Steam 3.4GB Update?

For the past two mornings, I have been getting a 3.4GB update via Steam workshop for RF2. From what i see their is no difference or any new data within the sim. Does anyone else have this "situation". If so, can someone tell me what is going on here? It is weird!!!

Still happening with me. I will let it download again and hopefully that will solve it.

I actually only learned about it this morning here when I opened Steam and it started downloading (thought there was an update), so once only for me. Opened again in the afternoon and all was fine.

the problem was with Steam's equipment. So we didn't even need a client software update to fix it. According to @MarcelS, the problem has been corrected.
