The FFB page has some good pictures of what things do. I personally think you leave most of it alone and then bind FFB+/- on your wheel and you likely need to increase the FFB in the cars, 3.2-3.5 seems to work best for me. Other than that I don't mess with much from the default. GamerMuscle has a video on it if you want to follow a guide but he doesn't do much with the new system as you don't need minimum force or canned forces on a high end wheel.
