I have dipped back into RFactor for nostalgia's sake but there's a steering issue.
I'm using a Logitech Driving Froce EX wheel, basic but usable.
In the game, there's a feeling like the steering is falling off a log.
I have tried changing the speed sensitivity and rates but it's always the same. Deadzone is set at 2%.
It feels like the steering wheel is rolling over a cylinder; at first there's resistance but then it flops immediately to one side.
When you turn it back the steering is fine until you get to the middle, then it feels like your'e pushing the wheel over a log and it does the same thing on the other side.
Does anyone know what this could be?
I am using the FSOne 2009 F1 mod, driving a Brawn, but it's the same with all cars.
