Steering wheel lock not working anymore

I set my Game Stock Car Extreme profile,apply persistant profile in Logitech Profiler,set my steering lock in game but it stays on 900.

Used to work.

P.S. will run GSC sync and see if that finds a problem.

In your Windows Control Panel -> wheel settings page make sure to tick the box that says something like "allow game to make adjustments" and check inside SCE -> Options -> Controls to set the option called "enable custom steering range" and set it to No.

Like that the game will automatically equip you with the real life steering wheel rotations and advised steerlock values.

Question: Why use the Logitech Profiler at all?

First i believed what Logitech says about games having issues if the Profiler isn't running, but that's simply not true. For me the Profiler caused problems that are gone since i disabled it.

I named it wrong, i mean the control panel in windows of course. I never used the profiler myself either.
