Strange problem regarding Game FFB

So I am having a rough time on the game with a particular bug that seems to be ailing either my game or my wheel.

I've been attempting to drift on AC through the Content Manager on a Thrustmaster TMX wheel and it seems that the game and wheel seem to either not be synchronized or there may be a touch on input lag as when I attempt to even drive (not drift) with any FFB in the Force Feedback Controller (I have tested 1% all the way to 100%), the game seems to have an issue synching the wheel movements and pedal movements (examples of such are that when I turn, my wheel in-car does not fluidly rotate but rather looks like a bout of high latency, this lack of rotation also is reflected in the front tires doing the same; as well as what seems to be delayed input from the wheel button/paddles I use for shifting and handbrake as well as some slight lag in how my pedals engage in-game) and it has made the game nearly unplayable for me.

I have found a solution in the matter for a stop-gap, which is that when I manually turn the FFB to 0 in my Force Feedback Controller in game, the problems completely stop. No issues with the steering, no input lag whatsoever, but since I own a FFB wheel and the lack of FFB is a major struggle in drifting, I am out of ideas on how to remedy the situation.

I have tested this both in the AC Game itself and through Content Manager; I've made sure my wheel's control panel and drivers are updated and have had several friends who currently even compete giving me advice on the situation and cannot make heads or tails of the situation, and I've even done a full re-install of my Wheel Drivers/Firmware, AC Content Manager, and Assetto Corsa game to no avail.
