F1 2014 Struggling For Grip In Career

Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and to the game in general. I'm getting quite frustrated with the lack of grip I'm getting in career mode. Ive only done Melbourne and Malaysia so far but in qualifying, I'm a good 2-3 seconds off the pace. I can't seem to put the power down even when I ease on the throttle. I don't consider myself a fast driver, but i'm fairly decent. Its weird because when I hop on gp mode, the grip is perfect. I'd set 1:27s during qualifying at melbourne on options whereas in career the best I could do is 1:30. I'm not sure if this is been brought up already. If so, please disregard this thread.

Agreed. Thats because you start GP mode with a fully upgraded car, whereas you don't in career.

Try playing one difficulty level higher in GP mode.
