Hi Guys .. noobie to sim racing and after reading a few reviews and watching some videos I decided to buy GTR revolution.

Installation was easy and adding my G25 wheel seems to have worked ok but when I want to race, I can't get out of the garage to start the race or test lap, the car will change into gear but refuses to move .. am I missing something ?

Quad core 2.5ghz
Nvidea 9800gt
4gig ram
500gig 7200

Did you assigned your controls in the setup menu?

yes, all assigned and look ok but I can't test them 'cos I can't get outa the garage :rotfl:

Use the advance option in the control set up menu to establish whether the pedals are working correctly.

Does it work if you assign the keyboard as the main controller to drive with?

Within the advanced option menu, the wheel setup looks ok with everything doing what it is supposed to do.

Just tried a keyboard setup and raced with no problems !?

i sometimes do have the same problem and the following helps me:
_ exit from gtr evo (and close steam),
_ unplug and replug the g25,
_ start gtr evo again.

Problem solved .. might prove useful for anyone else setting up a G25 wheel.
When assigning the wheel setup, most of the settings are automatically picked up but creating a new profile and making sure you assign the clutch settings, even though you may use the automatic clutch setting in a race, allows you to then leave the garage .. you can then tweak the assigned wheel settings to suit your gameplay.
