Stuttering

Hi all I'm new here
I got Ac yesterday but finding I'm getting a bit of a stutter, Played racing room exp and PC2 with no problems so I guess my system should be ok

AMD FX6300be
8gb Gskill DDR3
Gtx1050ti 4gb

not sure where to look I ran the in game benchmark fps was pretty high

Ive turned off vertical sync in nvidia control panel seems to have fixed it

This problem has returned tonight I've tried turning in game graphics settings down no change, Just validating my steam files see if that does anything

Just one point before someone chimes in with some better ideas.

Assuming you have a 60hz monitor,cap via AC control panel the FPS to 59.

I was running 144hz monitors with terrible stuttering so i capped FPS to 100. Stuttering gone.

There are some other tweeks that i picked up on the forum that also helped a lot with
graphics quality and FPS. Eventually someone will advise. I would, but i now have a
mind that “instantly” forgets.

If you look on “enhanced AA settings” 5 articles below yours, you will find some excellent
advice there to.

When in car I press Alt+Enter once. This seems to work for me as the game exits full screen mode and seems to run smoother.

Thanks for the help I found this last night Assetto Corsa with mini Lags which for now seems to done the trick

Its started again tonight

I played for about 2 hours last night no problems after changing the graphics ini file. Now its back to the mini stutter

Have you capped the FPS in AC to 60hz!!

Yes still the same. I cant figure out why it was fine last night but now its not

I've run out of idea's, every thing you have done, sorted my problems with stuttering.
you could try... Nvidia Control Panel.

Manage 3D settings :-
Assetto Corsa (assettocorsa/acs.exe)
Virtual Reality pre rendered Frames = 1
vertical sync = Fast
Triple buffering = off
power management mode = Prefer maximum performance.
maximum pre rendered frames = 2

make sure everything else is application controlled and or as advised (the little green box )

i'm sure you have done all this, you need someone with more savvy than me to help you now.

This ended up being the usb port I had my wheel plugged in to swapped it round and the stutter stopped

ok, i had the same problem and this fixed it for me too. i have no idea how it works but i plugged my wheel into the blue usb and now the stutter has gone. so confused lmao
