Suddenly AC runs like **** in VR

I powered on AC after little break and it runs like **** now. I can't get above 40FPS when I'm on a track even without PP, CSP and SS to 1.
I have newest GPU drivers, and everything else is up to date as well. I've also tried Oculus branch but the performance is the same.
I have R5 3600/RTX2070S and 16GB of RAM. What gives?

Is it just AC? What is the performance like on a 2D monitor (no Oculus services running in the background)?

Edit: my system- R5 3600x/1080ti/16gb 3200mhz & I've had similar issues.

So far I've tested ACC and AMS2. Those games run as before, but something happened with AC.
I ran benchmark test using these graphic settings:

And for VR I was using these settings since I installed the game and was getting 90FPS almost always. Now whatever settings I change it's locked to 40FPS and stuttering.

It's really odd that you get 41.6fps with both VR & on a monitor. It's almost as though you are locked @ that framerate. Do you get the same fps if your settings are set @ the minimum with PP turned off. I'd also open up your windows' resource monitor & look if any threads are getting maxed out during the benchmark.

Edit: Here are some of my screenshots just in case they help identify your PC problem.

No no. That's from previous session only (VR). I've uploaded the benchmark results when runing in 2D. It's around 121AVG.

 oops

I only use the vanilla version of AC. No CM or SOL. Is it the same benchmark? If it is, then it should be twice that score with SOL off.

I had an Oculus update yesterday and when watching replays on my monitor my frame rate was cut in half, from over 100 down to 60. Also Gsync does not kick in anymore if I have the Oculus window open while watching 2D replays. This didn't happen before that update.

Related or not recent Nvidia driver started causing issues for me with Refresh method set to G-Sync compatible, trying to sync HMD to 60hz. Changing to Fixed Refresh Rate method alleviated the problem. Also make sure that mirror screen is runnig in true fullscreen, not bordered or borderless window. Try Alt-Enter to check.

That fixed the issue. Thank you very much. Unfortunately it works only if I set to fixed refresh rate globally but if I set it just for AC it does not work. It's a bit PITA since I would gladly have G-Sync compatible enabled for 2D games.
Let's hope it will be sorted out with the next NVIDIA update.
