Suitable Dimensions for Things

I know how to make kerbs and crash barriers using walls, and I've also had a go and making an SObject kerb, but I never know if the sizes are appropriate. There are probably standard dimensions for barriers (height and thickness), and probably kerbs, but what are those dimensions?

Well, for armco barriers, one armco barrier 'beam' is about 310mm deep, and 85mm wide. A triple height armco barrier (ie using three beams) would therefore be about a 1000mm deep. If it were a double height barrier, the top might be a little less, at 700-800mm high. Singles are mounted at about 500-600mm at the top.
