T-LCM Clutch raw vallue maxed out at 99.9

Is my new TLCM unit is faulty?

I fully depressed my clutch but the value won't go higher than 99.9

Everything else is fine, throttles go to 100.

I know i can set a deadzone, but I am just annoyed. This is my second set of TLCM and I was wondering if I received another faulty unit again. My first TLCM was returned because of bad brake load cells.

I don't think that counts as faulty. Its well within the default tolerances they have set for that pedal and its not remotely significant. If you put tougher springs on the brake you will get a reading all the time out of it and need that dead zone at the bottom, technically you will loose range doing so but then the springs are putting more force on the loadcell. This is fairly normal with loadcells and hall sensors, they have a bit of variance at the edges. You will not be able to notice it especially on the clutch which most games treat as an on/off switch anyway.

Thanks for the explanation.

I am not an expert on the topic. I understand that about load cells but I thought hall sensors are magnetic and since there is no moving parts, there will be no variance. Would you mind elaborating regarding the hall sensors? I would like to get a better understanding.

I have another question, is it likely then that the variance will further increase as time goes on with frequent use of the pedals?
