T300RS FFB adjustments while in game

I use the T300 servo and Win10.
When the in-game FFB does not feel strong enough, I use the Thrustmaster Control Panel to increase the FFB strength. When I alt-tab back to the game, my wheel goes limp (no FFB at all) - until I restart the game.

Is it supposed to work that way?

After running some tests....
I have noticed it in Codemaster's games and AMS.
Not in Raceroom or pCars

Yes. As soon as you open the control panel, it takes over the FFB control, and many games only initialize FFB on startup. BTW, you should stick to a fixed setting in the TMCP, and only use in-game settings to fine-tune feedback strength. The default 75% is good for all around, 60-65% for best linearity (but bit weaker overall strength) or 80% for some added low-end boost.
