T3pa help needed

Hi all,
I took a gamble in some T3pa pro pedals from cex £60 delivered. They arrived in poor condition with a very clicky brake pedal, but I decided to strip them down and clean them up. Very pleased with the results but have some questions.

1. I am putting them on my playsest challenge so the black back bar needs to go. Is it straight forward to remove.
2. The brake mod is long gone so any tips for a replacement.
3. The clutch spring is very week, is that normal.
4 the throttle spring also seems a little weak. Is that normal.

Thanks in advance
Greame

Thanks Paul,
I found a squash ball but the problem I have is that it does not have the metal cradle that the brake mod screws into. Does anyone know if you can buy them?

I have a set of T3PAs so I can give you direct answers.

1 - So long as the clearance isn't too low, the frame shouldn't be an issue.
2 - A squash ball if you want a rudimentary progression mod. Or you can get the load cell mod on eBay for £85
3 - Clutch spring is possibly worn. I believe replacement springs are available.
4 - Yes, the throttle spring is fine.

I have the stanadrd T3PAs with the ebay loadcell mod on my Playseat Challenge. Folds up perfectly for storage.

The quality is pretty bad TBH. The throttle and clutch springs are pretty weak but you will probably get used to it very quickly. The throttle pedal started to squeak (GT85 sorted that out). Then the throttle pot gave up (spiking continuously) within the couple of months, but I just moved the brake pot over as it was unused.

Hi, yes after a bit of testing I do like them. Shame about the missing mod bracket though. I will definitely be looking to improve the throttle and clutch spring. Hopefully someone knows the sizes. Then if I can not find a brake mod bracket I will have to find a spring rubber mod instead.

Cheers Greame
