T500 Forced fan mode

Hi I have read from the pdf you can force it on using the mode+ start button but it doesnt seem to do anything no flashes of the mode light. Am I doing something wrong or did they take this feature out? Firmware version V43

Are you sure you're pressing the right buttons? It should be button 8 and the mode button together: the mode LED should flash two times when it activates. And do you have the latest drivers and firmware? It only works with the later software. Not sure of the numbers, I use a TS-PC now

Sorry for the thread necro, but I'm having the exact same issue. Mode + ST doesn't do anything - and yes, it's button 8 according to the software.

Anyone have any ideas?

T500 does not have forced cooling mode. T300&TX do , and you need to update firmware if you have a really old one.
