Take-Two Interactive vs EA for Codemasters

Surprised how low key this announcement has been, both from Codies and EA and from the media. No front page news?

Possibly because it was a bit more PR around the Take-Two one, but that didn't go through as people were not happy with the price they would get for their shares.
This looks like it will be accepted, but it's not 100% done. Yet.

Was really hoping that at some point this title would release a single game that would have DLC for each season so you could build upon it. Have a library of cars and tracks so that you could race all McLarens, or Ferraris across the years on tracks from different eras. By now we would have a decades worth of cars and tracks along with all the vintage stuff they did. I would have been happy to pay the full price each year if I could have it all in a single game.
Missed opportunity as we have seen what EA and F1 have done in the past...not so good IMO.

I work in the bond market and Electronic Arts is issuing $1 - $1.5bn in new bonds today. Use of proceeds is listed as "general corporate purposes, including but not limited to acquisitions".

Good luck Codies and SMS. They get the financial security, hopefully those two companies' souls aren't fully eroded.
