Since the custom season tool always have issues I wanted to create my own championship on paper.
The stock car e.g.has 40 profiles in the talent file.
I don't want to race against that many and on many tracks its just not allowed therefore I tried to remove some profiles but I've noticed that the name(s) still show up in race after that their profile is removed.
Does anyone know a solution?

You must go into the vehicle files and remove the cars that you do not want to race against.

Thank you for your reply. I did try this but my game crashed so I just put them back in.
I'm enjoying the game either way
