At your mental age do you grasp the difference between built-in and third party? Or that this is a wishlist for Assetto Corsa 2?

As for telemetry, I'm using it on dayly basis and prefer a specialized program that is consistent over different Sims (and can also work with readouts of my irl car.
The thing with the wishlist I actually missed, in my head I was in the normal AC subforum.
Telemetry is built in the game. All sims have it. Lots of arcade games have it as well. The game broadcasts the data in your home network via UDP. A third party application like Simhub/Joel then catches that data and makes it presentable so it can be used on an old phone or second screen.
Could you perhaps give a little more detail on what you want to accomplish with the (already present) telemetry in AC2? Question mark ;-)

In my case I use telemetry for Simhub (dashboards, LED lights and bassshakers) and for Motec (data analysis)
But as you said that´s quite common over the sims.
