Teleport to pits not working

When I teleport to pits with ctrl-P it puts me in the pits but I can do anything with my car. Wheel, gears and pedals have not input after teleporting. New to the game looked this up before the post and found nothing.

When you teleport out of a race your controls are locked for period of time as a "penalty"
Normaly you get a warning on screen.

Try using "setup in pits" instead. After you press that youll have to click race again.
