The Semi-Finals of the Women's Singles at the US Open in NYC is tonite, live on ESPN TV and streaming. 7PM-EST is the first match, young, un-seeded American player Jen Brady versus world # 4 ranked (& widely considered #1) Naomi Osaka of Japan. The second Semi follows, Victoria Azaranka versus the #3 seed Serena Williams.
Tomm night (Friday) are the two men's semi-Final matches. At 4pm-EST, Pablo Correno-Busta of Spain takes on 5th seeded Alex Zverev of Germany. Following at approx 6:30PM-EST is the 2nd semi, with the #3 seed Danill Medvedev of Russia versus 2nd seeded Dominic Thiem of Austria.
My predictions... Osaka, Azarenka, Zverev, and Medvedev. For the Finals, Azarenka and Medvedev.
