That's assuming at least one person is daft enough to part with fifty clams in the first place.

I'd pay for a local track. I appreciate the time that goes into it and the value I get out of it. Most people will be sinking decent coin into a sim rig, so giving money to the content creator isn't a massive deal. However there appears to be a bit of cloud over this one so ill hold onto my $50 until I know more

Yeah, the timing could be seen as highly suspicious, with a big forced captive audience at home and not able to travel to the actual track. Somebody much more cynical than I might think that somebody somewhere was trying to cash in on the coronavirus pandemic. I can't for one moment imagine that that would be the case though, so it's probably just somebody not having the first bloody clue about what right-minded people would consider to be good value.
