I’ve always calibrated my monitor(s) by using the Windows built-in-tool and or using websites like displaycalibration.com but I knew something was still off so I bought a Datacolor Spyder5Pro (thankfully it was on sale) and calibrated my monitors and it made a huge difference, I couldn’t believe the color change, it was like AC got a graphics update (I recently added the good and bad weathers mod which made the graphics even better)
So anyway if you’re using the factory default settings on your monitor you probably are not getting the best results. I’m not saying you need to buy a Datacolor device or the like but do yourself a favor and calibrate your monitor(s), your eyes will thank you.
