Thrustmaster F1 addon or TM open wheel?

Hey guys got a huge dilemma lately,
Don't know what to choose here are some reasons:
Why i want F1 Addon
Amount of buttons (especially rotary knobs)
Overall looks
Why i want TM Open wheel
Build quality is better as i heard
Better grips
Looks newer to me

Could you guys please help me which one to choose? Need feedback on both of those

The Thrustmaster F1 does not have rotary knobs.

Hi,

I have both, and I prefer the Open wheel if you dont care about the amount of buttons. Paddle shifter on the F1 is very weak and both sides moves at the same time, not independent. F1 is rubber grip, OW is alcantara. OW is prettier

OW for me.

I Also have both. OW is suede , not alcantara , but still nicer than the rubber grips of F1. If you have a weaker base like T300/TX then go for OW , the F1 rim is quite heavier so you'll lose some detail.

The ow is definitely not prettier, it looks like a kids Toy. The F1 ones does have rotary encoders on the thumb dials.

I like my F1 add on, I love having all the extra buttons at the touch of my fingertips. My only issue with it was the rubber grips which I have solved by using double sided tape, a thin piece of foam for padding then plenty kinesiology tape wrapped around which has a nice tactile feel to it. It's had years of abuse and still going strong.
