PC2 Thrustmaster T300 GTE Settings

Hello, I have a mate trying to get Project Cars 2 to feel better with his T300 GTE...

Says it feels like it has quite a big deadspot from 10 on the wheel around to 2...
This was also his quote...

The only way i can describe it is like driving a really old inaccurate car, or something with 13" + 80 profile wheels

Has anyone else got a T300 GTE and had this experience?

Any one got one that works fine, can you post your settings?

Not a problem on mine and I use the stock immersive and raw settings with no tweaks.

Has he calibrated his wheel properly in game and using 900 degrees?
Immersive and informative take a few laps for the auto calibration strength to kick in.

What are his current setting?
Is it loose in the middle or heavy?
Running the lastest firmware and drivers?
All cars certain cars?
