Thrustmaster T500 calibration issue

I have a issue with my T500.
During PC start up the wheel does not complete a full calibration. If I enter an sim (eg iRacing) it does not recognise the wheel. I have to unplug the cable and reconnect it and then it runs through the final calibration and everything is back to normal. I have reinstalled the software etc. Any suggestions?

Is the wheel recognised by pc? Does the thrustmaster programm does recognise the wheel? could it be it lost the firmware? If changing the usb port does not fix it
