Timing at Nords Tourist

I notice some people managed to record lap times at the tourist track for the rsr app. Every time I exit the pits my record light turns red & my lap is invalid. Is there a way to exit the pit & get a valid lap for RSR?

I have no clue, not experienced this myself and also never used the RSR app. Thought it would be pointless to say I can't help you, doesn't add anything to the topic
Is it the time in AC that turns red or is it the time in the app?

I've heard you have to run hotlap mode & restart session instead of going into the pit area when you want to start a lap, idk if it's this exact issue but something to do with valid Tourist laps.

Yep, dont start the app when inside the pits. Close and restart it.
