F1 2011 Tire condition

I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. When I'm in a race and in the garage and want to see what the tire condition is, it is not showing for me. I can choose tire types but I see no condition bar showing me percentage of wear. Is this a problem with the game or is it just something I'm missing?

This is because you have Tyre Sim switched off.

No tyre wear = not able to see it in menu.

Thanks. Thought I had that turned on. I will check this tonight when I get home. I'm seeing this in career mode BTW.
