To, or not to that is the question :)

I have a Thrustmaster TX and it always seems a tad notchy, I 'm thinking of upgrading to the VRS DD Pro ( house re-mortgage required ! ) so is it a good idea and will I see / feel the benefits ?

If this seems expensive enough that you joke about re-mortgaging the house, I would say don't do it. These are just toys and I would never buy sim equipment if the money were to come from just about anything else.

I would say go for it, it would be a good upgrade if you are somewhat joking about the finances.

I am probably somewhat older than you, have been impulsive in the past, and would suggest that you never look to refinance a mortgage to get something like this

As stated above,

it completely depends on your situation:

if you have dependants it´s not the time to make debt, times are uncertain.

if you are (like me) a single with a solid job and disposible income buy yourself some toys, especially if they make you happy in difficult times.

(I may have overspend a little in the simdriving/ simracing department,
but nobody depends on me. I still can buy meat and beer and i am quite certain that simracing and our online community helped me to stay sane in month of lockdown.)
