Wasn't there a tool available to delete\reset your profile, FFB etc after a major update such as the one today or am I thinking of Pcars?

Tool ? You don´t need a tool to delete your control profiles in documents/my games/simbin.... user data/control set

You're thinking of pCars (or so I assume).
Can't remember ever seeing anything like that in R3E
