F1 2014 Track Geometry TT v Career - Is it My Imagination?

I don't know whether this is just my imagination, but there seems to me to be differences in the geometry of TT and career races. (I have not checked grand prix mode). The one that stuck out most for me was Bahrain - the short stretch between the penultimate and final turn into sector 3. It seemed considerably shorter in career.

I tend to learn the circuits in TT. When going on to career, the circuits don't seem the same in a few odd places; kind of a Twighlight Zone experience. Or is it just my imagination?

I'm at Bahrain in Career atm... i'll have a look to see if i notice anything.... you might just be crazy though...lol

That might explain why using highLODs in TT will make the game crash under certain circumstances while it all works in career and gp mode ...

you know, i forgot to pay attention in my career race to this. I'll have to go back and look at it more closely.
I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary at the time i ran the race though.
BUT - it really doesn't make sense that it could be true.
