Triple Monitor Suggestion BenQ vs Asus or Ultrawide

Anyone have any knowledge on the following monitors for a Triple Setup?

BenQ EX3203R 32 "

vs

Asus TUF VG27WQ1B Curved 27"

or run a large single Ultrawide monitor? Samsung G95?

I Usually sim in VR (Index) but also looking to setup my First Triple monitor setup or Single Ultrawide.

Anyone have experience with any of these?

Or are their other suggestions of monitors i can look into? I was originally going to go as big as 50 " but i hear smaller monitors are overall run better and are still very Immersive.

I had 3 x 27" monitors before my now 49" ultra wide and I much prefer the 49" as for me the bezels really messed with the immersion when I had 3 x 27"

I also have a Reverb G2 which I barely use , I still prefer my 49" for ease of use , comfort , visual quality and being a lot easier on your hardware to run.

I personally think the 49" is the perfect sim racing monitor.

It's 5120 x 1440 = 7,372,800 pixels
compare with 4K 3840 x 2160 = 8,294,400
Good system still helps pushing titles like ACC.

It's definitely easier to run the 49" compared to my G2 VR headset and 3 x 27" screens.

Triples here: I have ultra thin bezels and my side monitors are half a CM behind the centre monitor so at most I have two thin bezels with each one only being 4mm in width and honestly, I don't notice them and find triples amazing.

I thought about super ultrawide before and it looks good, but with triples you get one extra 27 inch screen width for the same FOV which equals wider peripheral vision meaning you see another car coming up beside you earlier . This also means you get full width vision windscreen and you sorta then feel more in touch with the enviroment outside of the car - the vista of the world if you like.

My entire triple set up cost was half the cost of a 1080p super ultrawide and at 27inch, 1080p is pefect with tight enough pixel density to look absolutely great and is really really immersive. When the screens are close to you you dont really need much bigger than 27 inch tbh. Though, 32inch would be okay but then with close up screens at 32 inch you then may need to think about 1440p triples instead = big jump up for your graphic card. Some people use 1080p on 32inch triples and are happy but I would imagine you could start seeing pixels if the screens were close up for sim' racing so at 32 inch IMO 1440p would be best.

What triples do for me comes with the peripheral vision:

when I changed from42" Flatrate to 27" triples my countersteer Reflex showedup unanounced ;-).

I had it real World, but not on the flat screen.

And I can also concurr that at 60cm eye distance 1080p is fine.
At least in AC you can drive triple 1080p rathèr well with an AMD Ryzen 3600x and RX5700XT, always over 80FPS.

Do you know the make and model of the graphics card? This will be one of the biggest limiting factors when it comes to monitor resolution and frame rates, followed next by the CPU and memory speed.

The 6700K is "ok", but it will show it's signs of age on a modern top tier graphics card. It may limit potential depending on the desired resolution or frame rate you are trying to achieve.

If we're talking triple 1080p screens, then you could probably pull it off, but triple 1440p screens is asking a lot from a GTX 1070. It would run, but you will need to bring the graphic quality settings way down to get a smooth and fluid experience.

To put it in perspective, I have an Radeon 5700XT. The performance of this card sits between a GTX 1080 and a 1080ti. On medium graphic settings in ACC I get between 40-50fps in Nürburgring running triple 1440p screens. It's useable, but not desirable considering my monitors are capable of hitting up to 165fps. I need a new GPU, but prices are crazy high right now!

With your GPU, 3x 1080p or a single 1440p ultrawide would be a wiser choice. There are also 1080p ultrawide monitors to choose if you don't mind the reduced resolution, but that might be a step backwards considering your current Samsung is a 1440p monitor.

Triple 1080p: 1920 x 1080 x3 = 6,220,800 pixels
Single Ultrawide: 5120 x 1440 = 7,372,800 pixels
Triple 1440p: 2560 x 1440 x3 = 11,059,200 pixels

1080p is a pretty sad resolution for 2021, even for triples.

Been down the 4K route with a large single screen and the 1080p 27inch triples just do fine for me and look nearly as good - when it comes to smaller screens the pixel density is so much tighter anyway so I don't think I'm losing that much visually. However, if I had 32 inch + triples at 1080p then yeah I agree with you. Also I'm hitting in the region of 160fps + with 1080p triples - pretty sure it's in the region of 170-180fps tbh so it's super responsive.
