TS-PC Racer Oscillations in rF2?

My Thrustmaster TS-PC Racer has an annoying left-right-left oscillation in rF2. (This doesn't happen in other sims...) I can feel it most when driving down a straight, but not so much in the curves. If I let go of the wheel, even when at a stop, the wheel oscillates visibly. It seems engine related since it oscillates at a higher rate with faster cars. The effect is similar to the feeling of a "geared" wheelbase, like my old Logi G29, but this wheel base is belt-driven.

Can anyone explain what's causing this and how to tweak settings in rF2 to get rid of this oscillation or at least tone it down?

Thanks!
Bert
