is it me or does the car perform 10 times better in time trials than it does in career mode?

In time trial tyre sim, fuel sim everything is off.. the cars are all upgraded to max.. so that is the reason for better performance..

Its not you, Fahad is right. In TT the car performs approx 23,478,884 x better.

OK I'm glad I searched for something about this rather than start a new thread about it.

Just started my first season career race at Istanbul and after learning the track via Time Trial it was very disheartening to find that my fastest time in actual practice for the race was around 5 seconds slower than what I had achieved in Time Trial (both in the Lotus). Does that seem excessive or is it about right? The car felt like a tank at times... even when I reduced the fuel load it was still very sluggish.

Another thing was that the first time I dropped the fuel to about four laps worth I got a message from my engineer after two laps saying that I should return to the pits in the next couple of laps. Just to see what would happen I ignored it and carried on but it seemed to be ages before I felt the car start to lose power. I'm sure I actually ran about 8 laps or more. Anyone else find this as well?

The cars are not only top garde, full upgrades and max BHP, but also the track grip is 100% the car grips remain the same!

unless you are grimmie or szizful (sorry, i dont really know to spell your name) you can't get TT laptimes in career mode..
