Update Driver Profile WTF O?

Has anyone been able to crack the code on making changes to the driver profile in ACC? Any changes to initials for the profile, drivers suit, helmet etc. are never changed for long after an update. Same session when I go back to profile they are back to the game default, helmet, suit color, initials, everything is unchanged. I have tried with no windows security on, no anti virus software, even on two different computers, the changes are never permanent after they are updated. Same session you go back to driver profile the drivers suit, helmet colors, initials etc are back to game default, even though they were changed on the screen minutes before. Its maddening. I had read this is a bug in the game but wondered if anyone else had dealt with this...
