Upgrade advice for Motherboard and CPU

Hi

I'm currently running an Asus B150 AND an i5 4690k in my PC and I'm thinking off changing these for a AMD Ryzen 7 7200x processor and compatible Asus motherboard (A320M-K maybe) as in budget, Would this be a sensible upgrade and would I gain any real benefit?

Currently driving Asseto Corsa Competizone in VR and other race sims

I think it would be preferable a 3600x instead of the 2700x, since it has better performance on gaming, better IPC, more efficient, etc.
And for MB, if you want to take out the potential of the CPU at least go with a B450. My advice would be a MSI B450M Mortar (best B450 MB you can get).
