I didn't do 46 laps continuous but I 64 total.

I was figured it was the track it self since their aren't any high speed turns.

Anybody think that the mediums can make it the whole race!

Just finished running a 46 laps practice. Tyres suffering in the last 7-8 laps. Other than that more or less ok. Running 1:13 low avg with two/three low spikes at 1:11 high sometimes.
AM SLOWW!!

I'm around that time. so if that is slow than I am also! lol

If you're gentle with throttle inputs, then you should be able to.
Such a traction-limited circuit, rears are crucial.

I made a screenshot at the end of the practice session with all lap times. I'll put them in excel tomorrow and pull out the real avg. Most probably I'm more towards slower timings.
Btw lapping alone is one thing... doing it with other cars is totally another story.
I'll sweat like a goat tomorrow night I already know that.

I'm not gentle/expert enough for that... 95% I'll go with my hards again and suffer the bitter consequences!

I practiced using the BMW and with a race load of fuel and mediums I am running in the low to mid 1:11's......mid 1:10's are possible for me if I throw a nice one together..My two teammates that are in the race Sunday are running the same speed so this will probably be a very competitive race.

Race setup with mediums and race fuel, across 30 laps (excluding just the opening lap) my average is a 1:12:1XX. Something doesn't feel quite right in the first sector, so I think I can get that down a tenth or two if I can get the setup to work a little better.

What kind of tire temps were you getting?

75-80 rears throughout all 30, 65-75 fronts throughout all 30. Not the 80-90 I usually shoot for, but they didn't fall apart. Like I said though, still going to be doing some setup work tomorrow around lunch time to get just a bit more out of everything.

Regarding tyre temps:
optimae are 75-105°C for Mediums and 70-100° for Hard tyres for the GT3 cars.
