I am planning to upgrade my sim setup with a new wheel and fanatec seems most appealing. I am on a budget so I'll try to do the upgrade in stages. I am thinking of buying a wheel base first and maybe use it with my old logitech pedals and I have few driving wheels from real cars in a garage, is there some kind of adapter that would let me use them?
Use custom wheel with fanatec wheelbase?

I am in the same situation, and had the same question, unfortunately the universal hub for $299 is the only way to use an aftermarket rim, as the Fanatec base needs to detect the electronics in the wheel in order to work, the P1 rim for $89 is the lowest cost option
