Is it essential to have Content Manager, what do I miss by not having it?
Not having Content Manager, Lets see.
SOL Shaders, Day night racing. Weather, Weather that can mimic the actual weather at a track in real world.
Shaders that can chrome liveries, reflect track detail.
And that's only half off it.
You can use a free version off CM but a one off payment to have the full version is worth every penny.
All new cars and tracks are being made to use the SOL and Custom shaders add-ons.
 
Hey guy's. Having a issue with both the FGX and VF. Both don't have a tyre parameter. Neither will load on track without it.

I didn't have a older version installed so there shouldn't be any conflict. Both cars needed the fixes listed here as well.

I just checked & CM didn't find any issues with the V8SC in my install.

May try deleting the following folders & re-installing:

(DELETE) assettocorsa\content\cars\supercars_ford
(DELETE) assettocorsa\content\cars\supercars_holden
(DELETE) assettocorsa\content\cars\supercars_nissan
(DELETE) assettocorsa\content\cars\supercars_holden_zb
 
New Update is out v3.1

We listened to some feed back and found a few things wrong ourselves we wanted fixed ASAP. We have also in the very short time version 3.0 has been out have added in some great features. This version should keep us all happy for a while. grabIT!

CHANGE LOG PHYSICS 3.0 & 3.1:
  • Changed suspension geometry to match real life
  • Kpi
  • Caster
  • Scrub radius
  • Suspension travel
  • Changed tyre parameters
  • The tyres heating parameters should be closer to real tyres meaning they won’t be up to pressure after one turn
  • Aero changes mean the car is more sensitive to pitch and yaw than before
  • Brakes maximum torque changed
  • Handbrake added to mimic line locker
  • Changed wheel rates
  • Changed gear ratios to match real life
  • Ai made to be much faster
  • Added broadcast cameras to the cars (F6)
  • Changed force feedback parameters
  • Can no longer grab reverse without stopping (just like real life)
  • Ai should not dive into pits after one lap anymore (if they do allow them to run a few laps in practice so the ai can get the fuel calculations)
  • [3.1] brake spawn adjusted to 60% front bias
  • [3.1] brake pressure % added to setup menu
  • [3.1] Other tweaks here and there

CHANGE LOG GRAPHICAL:
  • LCD display lights up at night
  • [3.1] Headlights all changed to white light and Nissan lights fixed
  • [3.1] Tyre texture will change to match tyre compound selected
  • [3.1] Adjusted hood cameras

If using the latest version of Custom Shader Patch (Well it just looks a ton better altogether just in that there)
  • [3.1] Night lighting added to interior of each car, they vary between most of the cars

Was thinking the same when I saw you had done a lot off liveries for this mod.

Hard to find good models that aren't Euro trash GT cars anymore.

Been lucky enough to do a good number of Super GT 500 early 2000's models lately. Don't find them much outside Gran Trismo sadly.

Only use Vector images these day's. No Raster, png, bmp if I can help it. The tiger on this is a Raster, rest is vector.

Would be nice to redo all the ORSM cars in today's 4K platform. Shame the older early V8 supercars aren't being seen in rF2 or AC. They have the best liveries.
 
One off those not so popular liveries or teams that get looked over by many. Shame though because Team Kiwi Racing was a team who gave unknown youngsters their foot in the door to the Supercars much the same as Gary Rodgers Motorsports did for the Holden teams.
