Very annoying 'suggested gear' thingy! How to turn off?

Hey Guys Im havin a ball with my 'new' GTL download

But that god damn suggested gear thing that comes up in the middle of the screen is doing me nut in

Cant find where to turn it off in either menu or .PLR file...HELP lol

Options -> Realism -> Corner markers perhaps? Or is that something else?

Senad's correct, the flashing thing is the corner tightness indicator.
