VR Desktop

Anyone use a VR desktop for the main menu, does it work well? Pretty annoying having to take the headset off.

It does, but I hate that you have to use the Touch instead of your mouse. My mouse is always right beside me, the Touch is usually laying around somewhere out of reach. Virtual Desktop lets you use the mouse.

You can use the mouse, but until they fix the cursor, you have to enable the mouse trail to see where it's at. I'm okay with the Touch myself, as I can just drop it next to the cockpit, while my mouse is further away on the keyboard tray.

Just to let you know that i win 10-20 fps whit oculus dash over steam vr. It solve my problem!

I boot my pc up and have virtual desktop start on Windows startup. So once I hop in my rig I can put on the hmd and grab the wireless keyboard.

Guys using the rift. Are using Nvidia inspector or other program to get better graphic or Performance?
Not sure if using Asus overclocking program help or not?

Other thing I find yesterday in content manager, i check : vr vibration. Give me a sense of speed whit the 3 setting of g force at 30%

Do you guys use glare setting?

Nope don't use Nvidia inspector. To get better performance I turn down graphics settings. Turn off glare, god rays, motion blur, depth of field. AA is also set very low.
