want to buy wheel for f1 &xboxone. any advice ?
Not that many options on Xbox.
Unless you want to spend 1200+ on the Fanatec gear you have 2 main contenders.
The Thrustmaster TMX
https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster..._1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474580699&sr=8-1&keywords=tmx
and Thrustmaster TX
https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster...1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474580746&sr=8-1&keywords=TX
The TMX is a hyrbid Belt/ Gear drive, has 900 degrees of rotation, a non removable rim. It costs around 150$ (atleast thats what its aimed at)
the TX is a completely belt driven wheel, 900 degrees rotation , removable rim. It's around 250$ to 460$ (depending if you take the bundle with the better pedals and rim)
All in all ,the TX gives you better force feedback, a better experience over all I'd say, it also allow you to swap to the Thrustmaster Formula 1 rim if thats what you are interested in, but it's definitely more expensive. So that all said. I'd advice you 2 things.
Go with this bundle https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster...1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474580746&sr=8-2&keywords=TX
It has a leather rim and better pedals, great setup and you won't find anything better without spending a lot more money and moving to PC.
Or if that is too expensive, buy the TMX ( https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster..._1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474580699&sr=8-1&keywords=tmx) and buy these pedals with it https://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster..._2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474580699&sr=8-2&keywords=tmx
Those are much better pedals with a stiffer brake (which helps with consistency in braking. So I'd advice you either one of those options. If your budget is much higher we can look at Fanatec but usually people playing a game like F1 on a console won't be interested in spending over a grand on a wheel which pretty much requires a rig as well etc.
Lastly, skip over the Logitech G920 and Madcatz stuff entirely. The Logitechs FFB system dates all the way back to the G27 and hasn't really been changed, largely inferior to the TX and if you ask my opinion slight worse than the TMX as well. Madcatz has really never been a huge player on the wheel market.
First batch of TX wheels had numerous issues yes. Well knownI had two tx wheels the first quit after 10 mins amazon sent me a other one never could get the controls set right got them set in f1 game then go to internet wouldnt work the same sending it back today was looking to replace it with the g920
