This year's Le Mans victors Nico Hulkenberg, Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber have all been offered the opportunity to defend their Le Mans title in 2016 by Porsche.
The German manufacturer's LMP1 team principal, Andreas Seidl, confirmed that Porsche will run three cars at Le Mans in 2016 with talks with all three drivers already under way, whilst Tandy and Bamber's participation being already 'pretty much decided'. Hulkenberg's presence in the car though will once again depend on the intricacies of his F1 deal, which has recently been renewed by Force India until 2017.
However given Hulkenberg's positive impression of the series, and considering that he was quoted as saying he would like to return to Le Mans during an appearance at last weekend's 6 Hours of the Nurburgring, it seems likely that an agreement will be reasonably easy to come by.
The WEC is next in action in Austin, Texas for the 'Lone Star Le Mans' with action kicking off on September 17th.
