Weird shadow issue

OK, have just put together a new PC, wel apart from the graphics card, and an issue has been carried over.

Basically in races with strong shadows, ie evening or late afternoon I often see a sort of mesh shadow grid in front of the car, I use in car, it sort of appears then goes away after a short time, it looks like mesh?

Any ideas

Are you using a custom livery?

If you are, maybe try turning the transparency layer 'off'?

I've used Boonatix's excellent youtube tutorial to create my own.

When I was messing around, I couldn't get rid of the mesh. Then I turned off the UV layer and all was good.

Worth a try?
