What are you listening to?

I was fortunate to see Rodriquez during his second 15 minutes of fame at the Detroit Masonic Temple. Even though I was mostly unfamiliar with his music, his humble charisma makes him feel like a long lost friend. Legendary talent and wonderful performance.

Be sure and look for his incredible story in the documentary "Searching for Sugarman.:
 
'72 I was 14 on way home from school when I found Rodriquez in Parramatta secondhand record store in Parramatta.
Sat down listened to the first track of Cold Fact, Sugar Man, gave him 20 cents train fare to hold it for me till Saturday when I got my allowance. Walked home humming that song could not get it out of my head.
He was as popular in Australia as South Africa.
