What does the RACER community drive?

Just curious. I bought my 1st car last week, a 1996 Plymouth Neon coupe.

Awesome, always liked that shape E-class.

Got any videos of the 552nm of torque in action? :D

Thanks
Don't have videos yet, but I have a picture from recent "testing"... Still with standard 5G Tronic (2.65 ratio) transmission becouse newer 5G Tronic (2.47 - from crashed old S400 CDI) needs some work.
Sorry for crappy image, it was recorded with my crappy mobile phone at night.

Does anyone know how to remove poplar bud goo?

Firebird has been covered in poplar buds&related goo for a couple years and I am not sure how to get it off without risking the paint and inspiring even more rust.

Someone suggested Spray Nine but that takes paint off. :/

Unrelated:
I found out that Firebird is around 3060lbs with half a tank of fuel and no people. Not super light but could be worse.

I'd try either bug and tar remover, or getting a clay bar kit from an auto parts store.

Did a 20 mile trip, town, country then town again and got 51mpg the whole time. That's 42mpg in the US. Not bad considering it's a big heavy car and it wasn't exactly a slow drive through the country :p

my car is doing good to do half that mpg lol, granted I don't drive too far and its all under 60mph.
