What does the steering wheel sensitivity slider do?

I was messing around with the FF settings to dial in my shiny new CSL DD and one of the in game settings I played around with was steering wheel sensitivity. I set it to 50%, then to 0% and then to 100%, and I felt absolutely no difference in game.

That being the case, what is it for?

Also, one of the things I want to do is match the steering to my physical wheel movement, apart from the Fanalabs steering wheel global rotation setting, I can't find anything in game that allows me to change the ratio, is there something I'm not seeing?

Cheers

Les

It makes the wheel rotation non-linear (faster or slower) the further you get from the center position. In general, this is a very bad idea and should not be used. There may be a bug where unless you use the arrow keys to change the value, it doesn't save.

If you are having problems with incorrect wheel rotation, make sure you are following the calibration procedure correctly. At the end it should say 900 or 1080 degrees, whichever is the maximum rotation of your wheel.
