What happened to my mini?

I haven't raced the mini for some time but I saw a video on youtube and felt like get in some mini action myself so I jumped in and this is what I see.

As you can see my speedometer and rev counter seems all washed out. Is it suppose to be this way because this is not how I remembered it, neither did I see this in the video I was watching.

I think this is due to Reshade being used (I use it too). The "washed out" appearance will change according to light incidence. Driving around at morning hours allows you to see this effect easily.

I have no idea what reshade is, but mine looks the same.

Bloody great cars to drive though.

Mine also looks very same. To be honest, I don't recall it ever looking differently. This is suppose to visually simulate a little dimmed tachometer glass, I guess.

What's reshade? Is it a parameter to be set... and if so, where?

I googled it, it's like Sweetfx, a dll hook type graphics enhancement program, there's one on Racedepartment for GSCE.

Never had an issue with GSCE graphics myself.

The "glassy" shading was added to instruments & HUDs of all cars in one of the recent updates.
