This one and the Van are examples of a Japanese style known as Bosozoku. Bosozoku was originally a style for motorcycles that some gangs had.

More recently it's spread to cars. Bosozoku style cars are usually adorned with shark noses(like the old BMW 6-series), huge, flamboyant exhaust pipes, bright paint jobs, huge fender flares, and stretched tires.
