what size of monitor or tv for triple screen

i have always thought bigger it better. but i guess the idea here is to get a 1to1 representation of the actual size of the world right?
whats the best size? how big can i go?
how wide and the widest part is it usually?
are the side monitors at a 90 degree angle
it hard to tell in all the pictures

what about ultra wide 21:9 does that work well for providing the correct FOV?
thanks

If you want more than 75 Hz refresh rate, then nothing smaller than 27" for 16:9 monitors, pref 32". Bigger monitors exist, but they typically are only 60 Hz refresh. In 32", get 1440p or else you'll have chunky pixels. Will need a 1080ti or better to drive above 75 Hz without significantly turning down graphics.

If 60 Hz TVs are okay for you, then triple 43" is a good size. Problem is the resolution... triple 4k is not going to work as we don't have GPUs that can pump the pixels fast enough (though maybe SLI RTX 2080 can?), so you'll be upscaling 1080p which is going to look a little chunky unless you move the TVs further back which reduces the FOV which kind of defeats the purpose of using big TVs, right?

The "proper" angle of the side monitors depends on the size and how far back the center monitor is. Typically they are around 45-60 degrees. Fortunately now-a-days the games have set-up tools where you input the angle you've chosen and the screen measurements and they will calculate the correct view. iRacing does the best job, but the others are adequate (except Wreckfest which doesn't support multiview).

I agree with most of the above except for the fact that I ran triple 27" 1080p 144Hz monitors on a 1070 and all my settings were at least med to high. Had nary a problem.

My 1080ti point was for 1440p monitors.

A 1070 isn't going to be enough for newer games like ACC unless graphics are turned down, as you've already demonstrated.
