FM6 Wheel vs. Gamepad (Question)

Hi, i want to buy the xbox one + forza 6 + thrustmaster tx.

I want to join leagues and i want to focus on leauge racing.

My Question: Do i have a big handicap using a wheel vs. gamepad users?

I was reading a lot of complains about the wheel users but i really dont know.


I hope some experienced forza 6 drivers can give me some feedback...

In FM6 the controller seems to be favoured by most and top LB times are set by controller. With the new ELITE controller even more so.

Controller is 2sec per lap faster, generally. Don´t buy the wheel if you´re only gonna play FM6

I have the Logitech G920 and it doesn't work so well with FM6.

In most console racers there are so many built in assists for gamepad users meaning nearly ever console racer the gamepad is quicker

I experience under steer with the game pad. The wheel is much better IMO.
